3/21 Algebra 1 - Graphing Quadratic Functions



Today's lesson focuses on quadratic equations. Students will be examing the graphs of quadratic equations, which are parabolas. The video above shows how to graph quadratic equations. To graph your own quadratic equations, click here. Students will be responsible for finding three things in a quadratic equation. Finding the coordinates of the vertex, giving the axis of symmetry, and deciding whether the graph opens up or down. You can see some more examples graphed here.
