Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra Extra Credit

3/1 Pre Algebra - Pythagorean Theorem

Today we introduced/reviewed the Pythagorean Theorem. The video above explains what it is and how to use it to find sides in a right triangle. See a student-made webquest on Pythagoras and the Pythagorean Theorem. Students took notes over some example problems (finding thy hypotenuse, finding the leg, deciding if a triangle is a right triangle) and then did some practice problems before they worked on the assignment.
