3/20 Pre Algebra - Polygons and Quadrilaterals

Today our lesson focused on defining some properties of polygons in general and quadrilaterals in particular. To see some of the definitions for polygons, click here. Students took notes over theses definitions and how to use them to classify polygons and quadrilaterals, and also solved for the missing angles in quadrialterals as well. 3/20 Applied Geometry - Surface Area of Pyramids and Cones

We continued with surface area today, focusing on pyramids and cones. You can see some videos of how to find the surface area by clicking here. After taking notes, we did some example problems together in class beofre the students worked on the worksheets that were assigned.
