Today, students received books, the class syllabus, and a handout regarding the website. Your son/daughter should be bringing the website handout home to you to be signed and returned to class on Wednesday. This will be worth 5 points. We are on shortened periods for the first two weeks, so we will meet for only 56 minutes. Make sure you bring your notes notebook to class on Wednesday!

8/20/2007 Algebra 2-Real Numbers & Operations
Today students received their class syllabus, explaining the rules and procedures for class. We went through them together as a class to make sure everyone understodd what is expected of them. Then, I gave a brief presentation on how to use the website. Students should be bringing the handout home to parents to be signed and returned. Feel free to contact me via email and/or comment also if you wish.
We began Algebra 2 with some notes on the real numbers, which is the set of numbers we will be using in this class. We defined some properties (associative, commutative, identity, inverse). Students took notes and then completed a worksheet in class. If it was not finished, it can be turned in on Wednesday.
