9/17/2007 Applied Geometry-Angles & Parallel Lines

Today in class we defined parallel lines and defined some angles when a transversal cuts 2 parallel lines. We went through some examples on the notes in addition to the definitions, did a worksheet in class, then students worked on the homework. 9/17/2007 Algebra 1-Multiplication & The Distributive Property

Today we reviewed multiplying positive and negative numbers and the Distributive Property with the students.

2/17/2007 Pre Algebra-Distributive Property

Students studied the Distributive Property today and its uses for simplifying algebraic expressions and mental math. We graded the homework that was due for today, went through our notes and example problems and then completed a worksheet in class.
