We continued our work with 3-dimenisional solids today. We are leaving surface area and will be finding volume. To do this, students simply multiply the area of the base of the prism or cylinder by its height.
Students did a worksheet that we grade in class, then worked on the assignmnet due for Wednesday.

4/16 Applied Geometry - Arcs & Chords
Today we continue our study of circles. Students will be looking at central angles, arc length and chord length. The video above shows how to find arc length. To see some more videos showing examples, click here. Students will be doing 2 worksheets in class for practice.
