3/13 Algebra 1 - Chapter Test

Today students took the Chapter 9 Test over exponents and exponential functions. Tests will most likely be graded by the end of class and students may even have time to do some corrections. Students will be responsible for achieving at least 'C' level work on all concepts before class on Thursday.

Algebra 1 & Algebra 2 Extra Credit (3/13-3/20)

The above problem can be solved for extra credit. Turn in your answer and work by next Tuesday, the 20th.

3/13 Algebra 2 - Solving Exponential and Logarithmic Equations

Today we put our new log skills to use and will be solving equations involving exponential and logarithmic equations. The video above shows some examples of these. You can also get some additional instruction by clicking here. Some Power Point presentations of example probelms can be ofund by clicking here. The students took notes over some example problems and then we worked through some more problems on the board together. After practicing, they worked on the assignment.
