Welcome back! Today we began Chapter 7 which focuses on Similar Triangles. First we reviewed ratio & proportions, which will be used in the second section for similar triangles. Ratios compares 2 numbers by division & a proportion is an equation stating two ratios are equal. We went through our vocabulary and example problems on the board. Additional example problems for this section can be found at the following links ( section 1 & section 2 ).Homework:
pages 457-458 #'s 3-10, 13, 22-24, 26, 35-36
worksheet will be due Thursday
paper is due by Friday @ the end of the day
