1/22/2008 Algebra 2 - Adding, Subtracting & Multiplying Polynomials
Today we continue or work with polynomials, again laying the foundation for our work later on when will will be solving polynomial equations. We will adding, subtracting and multiplying polynomials today. Adding and subtracting polynomials consists of adding like terms (a review concept). Multiplying can be thought of as the distributive property repeated a few times. Students will take notes of some examples illustrating the above ideas.
