9/21/2007 Applied Geometry-Writing Equations of Lines

Today we continued with our study of equations and their graphs. We focused on writing equations when given different information. Students will be writing equations of lines when given: a) slope and y-intercept b) slope and point and c) 2 points. Students took notes over examples of each method. The video above shows one of these methods. You can click here for some help with the b) type example.

Homework:
page 194 #'s 2-22 all, 24-30 even (write all equations in y=mx+b form)
