Today we continued our study of equations and graphs. Our focus today was on slope-intercept form. y = mx + b
Our objectives are:
1) Solve an equation for y
2) Find the slope and y-int of an equation in y=mx+b form
3) Graph an equation using slope and y-intercept
I worked through some examples on the board, thn students practiced on a worksheet. We ran out of time, so we will continue on Friday with a graded assignment. To see some examples of these problems, click here.
