10/17/06 Algebra 2

We began class with a review of solving systems of equations. View the worksheet here.

Our next lesson focuses on solving systems of inequalities, whose solutions are expressed as graphs, shown at the left. The solution to a system of inequalities is the area shaded twice in the graph. After viewing some examples on the board, students worked on the graded assignment out of the book.
