Today our objectives were to familiarize the students with the real numbers and their subsets (Whole Numbers, Integers, Rational & Irrational Numbers). Students also will be responsible for ordering these different types of numbers, according to their value on the number line. Third, we will review the properties of real numbers and how they apply to algebra. Students will also review simple arithmetic operations and convert units (such as feet per second to miles per hour). We will open class on Thursday with the 1.1 lesson test.

Pages 7-9, #'s 28-42 even, 54 & 60.
